We run a variety of enjoyable community groups at our Benfleet and Canvey Island offices.

Ageless Inspiration
Every Monday, 2pm-3.30pm
Runnymede Leisure Centre café
A friendly community social group bringing people together to enjoy card games, fun activities and good company in a relaxed setting, with time for conversation and refreshments.
Walk, Talk and Be Healthy
Every Tuesday, 10am-12pm
Outside the main front of the Castle Point Council Offices, Benfleet
Put your best foot forward and join our friendly Benfleet walking group! Meet new people, enjoy good company and discover the places on your doorstep. Walks are gentle, non-strenuous and suitable for most abilities; everyone is welcome.
Coffee and Chat Women's Group
Every Tuesday, 11am-1pm

A supportive, casual environment for women to connect and share experiences - a relaxed, low-pressure way to socialise in a safe, non-judgmental atmosphere.
Bereavement Support Groups
Every other Thursday, 1pm-2.30pm (Benfleet office); every other Monday, 10am-11.30am (Canvey office)

A safe, welcoming space to share your feelings, listen to others and find comfort in knowing you are not alone. Facilitated by a former Cruse Bereavement Counsellor. You do not have to face grief alone.
My Weight Matters

CAVS Computer Training
Every Thursday, 10am-12pm
CAVS, Castle Point Borough Council, Kiln Road, Benfleet, Essex SS7 1TF
FREE computer training (booking required). Bring your own laptop or tablet, or use office devices. Delivered in partnership with Learn My Way, covering using the internet safely and confidently, online banking, accessing healthcare and public services online, understanding and using social media, and searching and applying for jobs online.
